My name is Laurie Olson, and I have been doing taxes for over 20 years. I have lived in Paulding County for over 30 years and love our community. I am dedicated to offering affordable pricing and quality services.

Before opening my own office, I was a manager for multiple offices and taught tax classes for over 16 years.  I taught both in class and virtually on basic and advanced tax topics, so I have a great deal of tax knowledge.

The IRS does not allow you to use a paycheck stub to file your taxes until after February 15th. Before then, you will need either a physical copy or digital copy of your W2.

  • Married Filing Separate     $15,750*                     one itemizes, the other must also

Filing an extension only gives you more time to get documentation together to file. It does not extend the time to pay. If you expect to pay, you can avoid penalties by paying 100% of what you owed last year. It is best to make some payment with your extension.
